Our initiation is designed to feel the amazing sensations of caving within safe and reasonnable limits for Beginners. Discovering underground stunning landscapes with the Caving Instructor will change the perspective of participants. In working situation one should think out of the box, in caving practice one should keep open minded and persistent.
In Provence, many caving sites host wonderful mineral & aquatic sceneries. You will learn how to recognize concretions of different shape, colour or size. Â You will also discover, as an example, how air circulation inside cavities allows a certain type of animals to live in this special environment.
An Incentive activity to revive pioneering spirit
Caving is amusing, educational, lightly athletic and diverse. After an approch walk to reach a first cave, you may have to accomplish basic maneuvers of climbing or via-ferrata (short abseiling for instance, if the group is willing to do it) to explore further.
For 3 to 4 hours (half-day, usually in the morning) the group will follow the lead of a professional licensed Instructor. Equipment and suit is provided as well as helmet with lamp and eventually a sling if the chosen site requires it.
Participants will love this activity, happy to have shared this exceptional moment and proud of what they accomplished, off the beaten tracks.
